Usually made of natural leather, caoutchouc, or Silicone (elastic materials), fixed between the base plate (fixed part) and the blocks holder (moving part) which is the reason the material needs to be elastic to prevent any leaks inside the mould.

Located in the magnetic block, its function is to prevent the ceramic raw material from sticking to the lower punch by heating it and to increase/decrease the space between the lower punch and die box’s openings.
